Greetings! Welcome to the inaugural posting to my brand new Vicem blog. After years of using email to regularly communicate with my 3,000+ clients, my kids have convinced me that a blog is a better way to go for many readers. Unfortunately they left it to me to set it up, so visually it will be a work in progress for a few weeks.
This blog will provide updates several times a week to all of my clients about everything happening on Planet Vicem. Photos, plans, and videos of Vicem’s will be everywhere, as well as information on all my brokerage yachts.
The kickoff was precipitated by the seasonal re-opening of Vicem’s Newport office. I am delighted to now be living in Newport. I have rented a wonderful house up in Tiverton, on Nanaquaket pond:

I have a mooring right up front (just outside the picture frame), so if your boat can get under the bridge (15′, I believe) by all means cruise on up.
More importantly, my first stock boat arrived today. That is a 2008 Vicem 72 Flybridge. She is a dealer demo, and at under $2.9m she represents a substantial savings off a brand new boat. Here she is at our dock, at 411 Thames Street, Newport:
