A Special Invitation to my clients

  • From June 15 – 19 a very special event is occurring here in Newport – one of four world-wide races of the J-Class fleet.

J Class

The race course is entireley within Newport Harbor, and our Vicem 72 has been selected as one of the Spectator Boats, allowed right in the midst of it all.  Tickets for spectator boats are being sold for $500. However, any client of mine is welcome to join me for one day or all at no charge. But please let me know quickly, as we have only a handful of tickets reserved.

You can read about the races, and watch a great video at: http://www.jclassnewportregatta.com/index.html

Races run from 11am to 4pm. Five hours on a V72, catered. What could be better than that???

  • I am pleased about the review of our Bahama Bay 54 (IPS) boat in the most recent issue of Yachting Magazine.

Here is a PDF  of the review:  Vicem 54 Article – Yachting June 2011 Issue Bahama Bay

And as I mentionned last week, we just dropped the price. The full listing can be found at:

  • And here’s another Special Invitation: On July 9th in Newport the International Yacht Restoration School is having their annual gala. This is the event of the Newport yachting calendar.  It is a colorful and wonderful party, right on the water, and the guest  list is rather exclusive.  Tickets are normally $320 each. I have two tickets available at no charge for any of my clients who would like to attend. Several Vicem owners go each year, and they could tell you how wonderful a time this is. Last year 700 attendees raised over $600,000 for this worthwhile endeavor. But again, speak now or forever hold your peace. Details can be found at:  http://www.iyrs.org/NewsEvents/AnnualSummerGala/tabid/656/Default.aspx
  • And now my final Special Invitation – This Saturday  in Newport I get to merge my two great loves – Vicem’s and Banjo’s!  I am having an old-style Bluegrass concert aboard the 72 –  Banjo, fiddle, stand up bass and guitar – from 5-730PM.  I can guarantee a great time. Come on down!
See ya!
